Member of Parliament for Constituency #3 Konris Maynard speaking on Wednesday’s edition of Issues says the Team Unity Government will not implement Integrity in Public Life Legislation; the Freedom of Information Act or put a Public Accounts Committee in place because of its record since taking office over a year ago.
Maynard said staunch supporters and activists of the Team Unity Government who are now calling out the Team Unity Government for not implementing such measures should not be surprised.
In recent weeks a number of Team Unity Activists such as former Press Secretary Clecton Phillip, Operation Rescue Dwyer Astaphan and Terry Adams have called on the government to live up to its promises of electoral reform, good governance and accountability.
Some people got caught up in the illusion that apart from removing Dr Denzil Douglas there was no other substantial goal, added Maynard.
