The question of HIV/AIDS in St. Kitts – Nevis was discussed on Freedom Fm’s “From A Man’s Perspective” on Monday night. The regular panelists on the show led by Michelle ‘Sweet Sister Sensia’ Stokes and Jamiella McPhail of Freedom Fm, interacted with well known medical practitioner Dr. Dale Crawford on the transmission, prevention and medical options available for persons living with HIV/AIDS.
The panelists were concerned over reports that HIV/AIDS was on the rise in St. Kitts – Nevis and felt the time had come for legislation to prevent and discourage persons from knowingly infecting other persons with the virus.
Dr. Crawford, the medical expert on the panel, outlined the causes and consequences of HIV/AIDS and the medical options available for Kittitians and Nevisians.
