Douglas-1Leader of the St. Kitts – Nevis Labour Party and Federal Opposition Leader, Dr. Denzil Douglas is calling on Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris to reveal to the public the findings of a recent report on money laundering activities in St. Kitts – Nevis.

These activities according to Dr. Douglas reportedly involve a Mr. Hendrickson in Nevis and an official of the Nevis Island Administration (N.I.A). Dr. Douglas made the call on Wednesday on Freedom Fm’s “Issues” program in light of the blacklisting of St. Kitts – Nevis by the European Union (EU).

Douglas accused the Team Unity Government of continued corruption in sweeping this investigation under the rug and called on Attorney General Vincent Byron and Prime Minister Harris to bring this matter into the public domain in view of their claims of being transparent and accountable.

Douglas said the Harris Government is calling the EU blacklisting hypocritical for keeping St. Kitts – Nevis on their blacklist, but revealed that this is so because of the financial shenanigans of Team Unity Officials of Government.
