Deputy COP Hillroy Brandy Hails Police Efforts to Curb Crime

Deputy COP Hillroy Brandy says the increased sense of safety and security in SKN communities is attributable to effective policing put in place by the high command of the RSCNPF.

Speaking o Freedom Fm on Wednesday, Brandy outlined a number of areas where the police and security forces have stepped up their duties and activities to prevent and to detect crime in SKN.

Brandy indicated that because of increased surveillance and investigation, Raheem Freeman of St Pauls has been arrested and charged for the May 17th shooting incident in St Pauls.

Brandy paid tribute to the courage and professionalism of the police in doing their job in spite of being undermanned and under resourced. He said to continue to fight criminal activities the force was being brought up to strength with the recruitment and training of more police officers.

Brandy finally updated the nation on the status of wanted Chinese national Ren Biao, saying he was still in St Kitts and that the police had concluded their investigations and that the matter was now in the hands of the Ministry of National Security.
