As we enter the final two months of this particularly active and destructive 2017 hurricane season, we come together as media partners to appeal to you, our loyal listeners and supporters for assistance getting back on the air.
Hurricanes Irma and Maria have rendered access to our main transmitter site at Ottley’s Level impossible. Without access, SKELEC and our technicians are unable to restore our services and get us back on the air.
We are asking for volunteers among our large and loyal following to turn out to the West Farm Estate grounds on Sunday 24th September, 2017 at 7am to assist us with clearing the road to Ottleys Level. We thank the SKNDF for assisting us in this effort.
