Prison Superintendent Junie “Scrape” Hodge forced out from office

Reports reaching Freedom Fm are that Superintendent of Her Majesty’s Prison, Mr. Junie “Scrape” Hodge has been forced out after just 20 months on the job.

According to reports, the departure of Hodge, comes days after a verbal clash with Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris.

Over the past 2 weeks there have been reports of rival gang warfare in the prison that has resulted in stabbing incidents..amidst calls for Hodge to be replaced.

According to sources Minister of National Security, Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris has been unhappy with the work of Hodge in running the prison system.

Hodge was appointed to the post in February 2016.

Mr Ashley Connor is the new Acting Superintendent of Prisons.
