Director of Visitor Experience for the St. Christopher National Trust formerly the Heritage Society, Ms Toni Frederick-Armstrong says her prior teaching experience and work done in the tourism sector coupled with her journalism experience, gives her a solid footing to launch her career in researching and proclaiming the St. Kitts-Nevis heritage and cultural art forms.

Frederick explained the significance of February as heritage and black history month but pointed out that the focus is on our national arts and crafts and history, which will be highlighted during a month long celebration.

The activities include church services, lectures and visits by schools to the national museum.
