SKELEC continues to offer to its consumers, who are in arrears, an opportunity to bring their accounts current. This can be done by entering into a Payment Arrangement Plan.
In order to be part of this Plan, affected consumers are invited to call or visit the Consumer Services Department at the Company’s offices in Central Street to make a appointment. Please bring along the following when you visit us:
• Personal Government issued ID
• If you are disconnected please bring along a reconnection fee of $100.00 for Residential consumers and $250.00 for Commercial consumers.
If all requirements for a Payment Plan are me,t consumers will have up to 36 months to pay all arrears prior to 1 August 2011. Arrears post 1 August 2011 must be cleared first and special arrangements to clear this balance can be made. Consumers are required to keep all future bills current and will need to pay the first installment on signing of the Payment Plan for it to be valid.
