Deputy Political Leader of the PAM, the Hon.Eugene Hamilton and the Deputy Chairman of PAM,Lawyer Jonel Powell, took to the airwaves of Freedom Fm on Tuesday to address the issues of the political leader Lindsay Grant's resignation, the succession issue, and PAM's policies and projects relative to the development of St.kitts-Nevis.
Mr.Hamilton indicated that the the leadership of PAM knew Mr Grant was thinking about resigning as Party leader for some time now and denied that the "Marriott Affair" had anything to do with Grant's decision to resign.
Both Hamilton and Powell agreed that in terms of who would replace Grant as leader, was a matter that that would be decided by the party constitution and its grassroots membership.
Jonel Powell said that whoever was chosen by that democratic process, would have the full support of PAM executives and members.
During the popular 90 minute talk show on Freedom Fm,both PAM officials responded to a number of calls and emails from St.Kitts-Nevis,the Caribbean and the USA.
